The primary goal of the DEC is to provide effective leadership, planning and execution of evangelization and formation resulting in the formation of intentional disciples among the university students. The DEC is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation for the UCC’s marketing strategies, communications, and public relations.-Develop and implement a strategic plan for the UCC and special event communications through the UCC’s email marketing and social media platforms-Provide the marketing for special events (i.e. alumni Masses, donor events, thank you letters and mailings, and creating printed materials, etc.)-Update and maintain content on UCC website and oversee regular website development needs-Support the ministries through various media or marketing-related projects and assignments-Create a vision for promoting a wholistic view of formation; and promoting formation for all persons-Develop and continue to grow an effective plan for evangelization within and outside the University Catholic Center-Develop and implement a formation and catechesis Action Plan which includes measurable short and long-range goals, objectives and action steps with specific times and people responsible for completion

-Member of the pastoral team, collaborating in the mission and vision of the campus ministry -Advise ministry leaders in servant leadership, strategic planning, and ongoing spiritual and apostolic formation -Director of annual mission trips both domestic and international and annual community-wide donation drive benefitting site locations -Coordinate weekly and monthly ongoing local service opportunities for university students-Coordinate annual women's vocation pilgrimage visiting various religious communities-Coordinator for pro-life ministries, outreach, and annual pro-life drive benefitting local pregnancy resource centers -Advise new student outreach and evangelization efforts on campus -Advise women's ministries, retreats, and ongoing formation

-Mentor, manage and coach team members, responsible for casting and directing the vision of the mission-Collaborate in quality, growth and innovation strategic meetings -Create an annual campus plan and develop meaningful success measures-Create and deployed curriculum for growth goals in spiritual and professional development-Manage all pastor relationships with campus ministry staff and team members-Participate in five week-long ministry leadership development training-Each year realign new team members and resolved conflict to maintain the culture of FOCUS’ mission -Update and maintain monthly CRM database and managed an annual budget of $10,000-Directly responsible for coaching full-time employees in fundraising 100% of monthly salary through direct asks with donor relationships

-Responsible for developing yearly recruitment strategies and fundraising goals-Hosted informational sessions and on-campus events to promote registration and vision for conference-Collaborated with chaplain and campus minister to increase student attendance -Direct communication with the housing and transportation national committee, representing campus attendance

-Implemented opportunities for Spanish-speaking students to participate in prayer, scripture study and sacraments-Collaborated in national dialogue on how to foster greater cultural competency within ministries-Lead three weekly study groups engaging in scripture study and faith-based dialogue-Facilitated monthly student leadership trainings- including large-group presentations and discussion-Weekly 1:1 mentorship meetings with student leaders-Directly responsible for fundraising 100% of monthly salary through direct asks with donor relationships -Successfully managed 80-90 monthly donor relationships -Communicated donor relations including sharing the vision and direction of FOCUS, quarterly newsletters, regular correspondence and appreciation events (Both in English and Spanish)-Coached 8 student leaders to fundraise for attendance to a New York City mission trip-Ongoing participant in leadership development training-Updated and maintained monthly CRM database

Created yearly curriculum for two classroom groups, managed and directed a classroom of 12 students while also filling small group discussion, collaborated with a team of 3 in weekly content, participated in monthly employee trainings and spiritual formation
