As department head, responsible for delivering products thatsupport membership value and non-dues revenue goals.Manage a team of seven responsible for the development and delivery of the association’scontent marketing products: professional development program, communications/ publicrelations program, and digital and print publications.Responsible for overseeing $2 million dollar department operating budget, and $1 million inrevenue a year.Oversee the internal and external communications strategy for the Association, responsiblefor evaluating and tracking to respond nimbly to the changing market environment.External communications include building consumer awareness and brand recognition viaproactive media relations, print and web advertising, digital strategy, social media, andpartnerships. Internally focusing on building membership value and supporting theorganization’s goals throughout each of the associations touch points in print, online and inperson.Ensure that messages and information are developed, approved and delivered to allstakeholders including consumers, members, national board and volunteers, potentialmembers, allied organizations and staff in accordance with mission and strategic plan toimprove image and visibility.
