In this role, I was responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing manufacturing fixtures and processes that will improve efficiency and ease of production, as well as improve safety conditions.

This position included a wide variety of tasks including preparing medications, dispensing medication, customer service, inventory management, processing insurance claims and customer payments. Preparing medication includes selecting the correct medication based on drug, brand, form, strength, and quantity, then, counting and packaging the medication. I was heavily involved in customer service. I would answer phones and talk to customers in person to answer questions they may have. I would also act as a liaison between the customer and the doctor or insurance company to resolve issues. I would input prescriptions sent from the doctor's office.
