I am a creator of healing spaces. While I enjoy creating websites, courses, and mental health programs, all roads lead to healing the deep hurts in our hearts, minds, and communities, and supporting those who do the same.ABOUT HEALING WELL COUNSELINGThe most common refrain from my clients who have been through trauma - whether child abuse, domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, poverty, racial trauma or community violence - is that after going through it, they feel stuck. They feel unable to heal the way they want to. Trauma survivors often feel like they know on a cognitive level how to heal, but knowing doesn't seem to make them any less anxious, feel any more safe in relationships, or any more present as they move through their day. My passion is in helping trauma survivors get unstuck. More than just talking about how to change, my practice is all about providing practical tools and resources to heal on a deep level. Providing practical tools for healing involves connecting trauma survivors with our more innate ways of healing. To move from the more cognitive method of healing, where we just “think our way better” to more embodied ways of healing. I use breath, body awareness and movement, music, and community to heal.
