I have always had a passion for healthcare. While in high school we put on an annual blood drive and I could not wait to get involved with it when I had the chance. I was a part of leadership and volunteered with the blood drive as well as attempting to donate blood. I am looking to expand my knowledge of healthcare through getting experience with patients. I am interested in a part-time job or volunteer experience. In Fresno, CA, I worked as a cashier at Dog House Grill. This is one of the busiest restaurants in Fresno and I had to navigate the bustling environment. Through my time here I learned to be efficient while also being polite to the customers. I have also worked as a nanny for children from 6 months old to 4 years old. I have learned to be attentive to their needs and have developed the skill of communicating with young children. As mentioned before, I was a part of the leadership program in high school and coordinated many events for the student body. I am determined to learn more about healthcare and am eager to get hands-on experience in the field. I enjoy working collaboratively with others and am very thorough when given a task. I respect the intensity of the field of healthcare and will not take any task given to me lightly.
