Jochem is a consultant in the field of logistics, transportation and simulation studies. He prefers to combine his knowledge and creativity when thoroughly analyzing elevator planning, preferably in highrise design. He integrates experience and insight into the project by effectively mixing or separating building traffic patterns. If necessary, he builds the required software himself.As consultant and project Jochem is responsible for elevator capacity analyses, simulations and logistical studies for the optimal dimensioning of elevator groups in highrise buildings, complex stacked buildings and hospitals. At Deerns he designs for new buildings and renovations, but also develops maintenance strategies and performs logistical studies for all installations that move people and goods in and around buildings. In recent years he has focused on evacuation using lifts and solving saturation problems in under lifted / over populated buildings.
