As the R&D departments business process owner I am responsible to design and improve the quality and efficiency of the R&D specific business processes. I am the contact point for the R&D business to collect requirements, derive and define new/updated business processes out of them and initiate the implementation with internal and external service providers, mostly with a digital approach in scope. I have to ensure that all Process activities, (what to do), Procedures (details on how to perform the activity) and the policies (rules and governance) are defined.The main areas in scope are:- Optimization of the laboratory related processes by using LIMS as a digital tool- Develop and optimize the R&D data strategy and (raw-)data management- Optimization of R&D specific documentation processes with a digital approach- Definition of R&D related business processesFurthermore the optimization of the R&D departments interfaces to the related stakeholders (customers, internal and external service providers) is in my scope.As R&D departments data protection officer I ensure legal compliance regarding EU-GDPR and ensure secure information management and protection of the business data.
