About Johanna Kelly

I'm Jo Kelly, a proud Army brat from a family whose military service reaches all the way back to the Revolutionary War, and I'm married to a Navy veteran. My Bachelors was in Management and Criminal Justice, and my Masters in Management and Project Management. I have certifications as a PMP, Scrum Master and Product Owner, plus ITIL v3, DevOps Foundation, and Power BI. I have wide-ranging experience, much of it government-related, with 21 years total in IT where I am especially good at working with architects, developers, engineers, and all levels of stakeholders in Agile, hybrid, and Waterfall environments.I’m a U.S. Citizen. My first Public Trust clearance was granted in 2003 when I worked on the TSA contract in Kansas City, where I stood up the first private recruiting center for airline screeners in the country (FirstLine staff was over 600 screeners). My current Public Trust clearance through FEMA expires in June 2025 (and I also have 43 certifications with them). As a results-oriented professional with years of experience, I’m driven to leverage people, processes, resources, and technology to provide effective solutions and am an accomplished analyst and manager in Project Management, Technology Management, and Software/Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).I can organize anything in multiple cultures and environments and am looking for a win-win situation where I can combine my passion and talents as an experienced servant-leader, Business Analyst, Project/Program Manager, and Senior General Planner/Editor/Technical Writer for policies and procedures, knowledge management, and service delivery to leave things better than when I first found them. I'm adaptable, looking for a long-term growth opportunity, eager to learn new things, and an excellent team player.
