Jock is crazy about energy, everything to do with! As someone that wanted to change the world, he remembers clearly when he realised his contribution was going to be in the energy sector. Jock is proudly an engineer with experience in the global energy and technology industries. Jock is technical director of Broadreach Energy, a company he cofounded. He has experience with emerging technologies such as solar PV, wind, biomass, carbon capture and storage (CCS) and hybrid systems, and he enjoys the challenge of deploying new technologies. Jock has also led projects with banks and financial institutions performing project and asset due diligence. He has acted as subject matter expert for CO2 management technologies, including publication and presentation of scientific papers. His role has also involved business development activities in North America and Asia for DNV GL’s emerging CCS businesses in those markets.
