Israel Director for the Wohl Legacy

Responsible for developing, cultivating and managing academic diplomatic relations between The Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities and other National Academies of Science around the world. Organizing joint scientific conferences and academic meetings; hosting diplomatic visits; and pursuing strategies for international and multinational scientific cooperation.

A founding member of the Trump Foundation team, dedicated to improving educational achievement in Mathematics and Science in Israel, I was responsible for effective grant operations and management of the foundation's portfolio of over 200 grants.In this role, I developed and managed policies and procedures to ensure that grant-making operations, practices, and data effectively supported and advanced the strategic goals of the foundation. In addition, I was responsible for relationship management and oversaw the growth of the foundation’s knowledge infrastructure.----The Trump Foundation aims to serve as a catalyst for improving educational achievement in Israel by cultivating high quality teaching in secondary schools with a focus on Mathematics and the Sciences.Through instrumental and pro-active grant-making, the foundation seeks to implement three strategies which directly influence classroom instruction - focusing on the talent, expertise and practice of teachers.

• Development and implementation of Recruitment Strategy for the Mandel Jerusalem Fellows, a year-long fellowship program at the Mandel Leadership Institute in Jerusalem for exceptional leaders in Jewish education and community innovation. • Research and strategic planning to identify and analyze Jewish professional and communal trends.• Communications & Content: Re-branding the program and coordinating the design and placement of a new advertising campaign; creating relationships with potential candidates and supporting them through the application process.• This resulted in a 40% increase in the number of applications to the program overall and an 80% increase in the number of applicants from outside North America.

• Wrote content for Mandel Leadership Institute English website, articles for press on our graduates, and newsletters to global Mandel community of 1000+ people (2007-2008).
