About Jo Daris

Jo started his career in marketing working for major FMCG companies. He moved into the children’s area in 1999, working in the toy industry in various roles (going from sales to product development, working with well-known licenses as Pokemon, Winx, Yu-Gi-Oh, Avatar, Totally Spies, etc.). In 2006 Jo moved to the family entertainment sector, joining forces with Studio 100 to develop the international business. Jo was instrumental in the acquisition of E.M. Entertainment in Germany, the creation of Studio 100 Animation in France and the opening up of the English spoken markets (US/UK). In September 2019 Jo created Toon2Tango, together with Ulli Stoef, in order to explore new ground and partnerships and to continue developing IPs in order to provide outstanding 360 family entertainment concepts to families and children all over the world.Specialties: business development, international expansion, expansion strategies, growth modelling, network building, sales structures, media strategies and implementation, merchandising and licensing strategies and implementation, IP development, series financing and production.
