Professional warehouse supervisor and manager with 28 years of experience in warehouse distribution. Starting as a selector I worked my up to lift driver, shipping and receiving, warehouse supervisor and manager. Accomplishments: Taking on a lead role in our safety performance team where I designed and developed a powered industrial truck safety course that has been deployed nationwide and is used as the training model for all US Foods associates. Worked on our "on time delivery" performance and increased this by 25%, by working with other departments, finding pinch points, and streamlining processes. Increased the freezer department service and performance by cleaning it up, locating barriers and removing these obstacles. Working closely with employees and fostering a team environment, has increased retention, productivity and employee approval ratings for the company. I also, revised and upgraded the PPE for the freezer department to reduce injuries and increases employee comfort while working.
