Jodee Blanco is the author of the seminal NY Times bestseller Please Stop Laughing at Me…. that established her as anti-bullying’s first voice. As a survivor, speaker and pioneer of the movement, she is one of the most trusted experts in the American school system. Whether she’s helping an entire school district with inclusivity, motivating a gym full of teens to be more compassionate, or showing an auditorium of educators how to talk to a difficult parent, Jodee’s methods and techniques have been redefining how people treat each other for over thirty years. Prior to her anti-bullying career, she founded and ran a PR firm that specialized in the publishing and entertainment industries. While at the helm, she worked with Hollywood studios, Emmy and Academy-Award winning producers, movie stars, music moguls, sports stars, and authors whom she helped to put onto the New York Times bestseller list. Many sought her out to learn the power of dignity, humility and grace in communication, changing not only how they interact with others, but how others respond to them.Today, she speaks on bullying around the world, continues to write books, and also does consulting for private clients, governments and educational entities on more enlightened communication practices.
