Retired Teacher
After 30 years and teaching 2,3,4,and 5th grades, I decided it was time to leave my beloved teaching position. Within my tenure as a teacher I had many wonderful experiences on many levels. I earned my gifted certification, taught computer technology to 1st -5th graders for a year, and helped write a year's worth of science lesson plans for 4th graders. I loved my career and to this day continue to write lesson plans and share ideas with teachers still in the classroom. I am also volunteering to help with Lego Robotics at my neighborhood school.
