My involvement with Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl) began as a volunteer at a PATH Intl center in Valley, NE, HETRA. My passion for the organization's mission has been a journey of growth, personally and professionally.My volunteer experience led me to gaining my PATH Intl certification in 2005, which allows me to teach participants in the arena. I furthered my knowledge with the Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning certification in 2014. I held the position of PATH Intl State of Nebraska Representative from 2008 -2015. I am currently the Development Director of HETRA, which is a PATH Intl Premier Accredited Center in Nebraska.

Became a part of HETRA in 2000 as a volunteer and transitioned to a full time staff as Development Director in 2010. This progression provided the opportunity to interact with all levels of the organization, from Board of Directors, to members in the community, volunteers, participants, and their families. As the outward facing representative for HETRA, it was important to be in the community and building relationships.

Gained experience in though various positions in a variety of departments. Including Administrative Assistant for a Financial Representative, Research Specialist in the Operations Department, Workflow Coordinator in the Compliance Operations, and a Paralegal in the Legal Department. Progression to different departments allowed me to integrate my knowledge into my new positions.

Joined Smith Barney as a wire operator, entering orders to exchanges, and crossed trained in other operations functions, including New Accounts and Cashier. Transitioned into a Sales Assistant role for Financial Representatives.
