Led all aspects of Compensation for HP Inc including but not limited to annual reviews, building out core processes for the new company and managing executive compensation board responsibilities.

Reported directly to CHRO, partnered with Executive Vice President HP (EVP) PPS to design and implement a global HR strategy for one of HP’s most critical businesses, employing more than 50,000 people and generating $56bn revenue (PPS became HP Inc). Led the HR activities for the creation of HP Inc. a brand new Fortune 50 public company, including organization design & leadership selection, and cultural transformation (IPO Nov 2015).

Reported directly to CHRO, and partnered with EVP Software to provide global HR leadership for one of the most entrepreneurial & competitive businesses in HP. Supported 15,000 employees in a business responsible for $4bn revenue, leading a team of more than 30 HR professionals.Integrated five acquisitions; hired new Software leadership team; recruited team for brand new on-line business; increased graduate hiring by 15pts (in one year); globally improved pay competitiveness by 3pts, increased engagement by 19pts and reduced attrition by 2pts.In addition to this role, in 2013 I led a 12 month HP research project culminating in a white-paper titled "How technology has changed the way we work, and the implications for the role of HR". Not only did this white-paper engage the HR community in the future of our work, it was also used extensively in client engagements by our Professional Services organization.

Led HP’s Global Recruitment strategy, team and operations. With a team of 500 recruiters across 178 countries, we filled thousands of positions annually across a wide range of profiles and business needs. Spear-headed our organization's transformation from a heavy focus on filling requisitions, to more focus on pro-active talent pipe-lining, and the quality of our hires. As part of this effort, I secured investment to create a new global Sourcing team, and implemented new techniques to support business growth and their hiring needs. We also developed an new internal talent program, which included the first use of global, on-line career fairs.

At a time when HP was driving significant growth through Mergers & Acquisitions, I relocated from London to San Francisco to create and lead a brand new HR team dedicated to company due diligence & acquired employee on-boarding. I led HR through more than 15 acquisitions over two years including Mercury, Opsware, Knightsbridge and SPI Dynamics. In parallel I built the HR M&A team from the ground up, hired specialists into the group, and developed our global strategy, processes, toolkits and solutions. This organization and many of the tools we created continue to be used today.

I was promoted to lead the EMEA Recruiting function after successfully project managing organization design & selection for the Compaq integration. In this role, I led more than 70 staffing professionals, located across the region; drove new approaches to workforce planning, recruitment, relocation and the temporary workforce; gained support for the complete redesign of the organization and operating model to reduce agency spend, improve the hiring experience and the quality of hires; and negotiated pan-region contracts with key external vendors, reducing costs while maintaining service levels in both permanent and temporary recruiting.

I provided HR support covering a wide range of topics including organization design, manager support, reward & recognition, and employee development. I created and ran the first UK Management Excellence program to ensure that all managers had the training and tools needed to lead and support their teams.

Designed and managed all UK sales incentives, non-sales reward & recognition and senior manager bonus programs. I proposed compensation plans to UK General Manager; designed and managed special sales incentive programs; and led training events with all UK Sales employees. I was able to dramatically improve the quality of services provided to our sales teams, and as a result was promoted to the Regional team to lead bench-marking for all European compensation plans.

I delivered all recruitment activities for HP’s UK & Ireland Professional Consulting organization, which included sourcing talent; campaign design & talent assessment; and managing our local graduate and professional assessment centers in both the UK & Ireland.
