A Licensed Customs broker since 2017, with 20 years experience in the Customs Brokerage sector of logistics. The bulk of my past experience and knowledge resides with entry work and PGAs. While my license is still used to run our JFK/EWR offices, I have taken a backseat on the day to day activities there. I still oversee things as much as possible, and continue to assist with higher level issues when needed. Otherwise there is a lead broker in my place for the day to day needs. As well as problem solving, customer service, Protest filing, managing Customs notices, penalties/mitigation, maintaining Customs compliance, and generally.
I worked at WCB previously as an entry writer, and came back years later as a broker. So I had the same responsibilities as previously mentioned, with the added focus of managing the staffs workflow, training, and auditing.
