Day to day duties range widely from student instruction to managing aircraft usage. Flight school handles over 20 aircraft that operate as much as 18 hours a day. The flight school operates frequently in density altitudes greater than 5000' and often training flights are completed in 8000' density altitudes. Fly as many as 4 different models in one day; R22B2, R44R2, BHT206L3 and BHT206L4. Each day required instruct and test in 9 different flight training syllabi; from private pilot helicopter to external load training. Personal duty to provide guidance and mentorship to check instructors and line pilots, ensuring that they are an asset to the industry.

Seasonal pilot. Trained to perform the duties of SIC Bell 214B1 fire contract, PIC LiDAR BHT206, Cineflex BHT206. Coordinated with LiDAR customers, maintained records, and scheduled maintenance to reduce the impact on job completion. LiDAR and and Cineflex jobs were frequently in high density altitude situations with high internal gross weights, which required very precise fuel and performance planning in order to preserve the greatest amount of safety.

Part 141 check instructor and part 141 private pilot ground professor. Regularly tested and instructed pilots in training while adhering to the rigid standards of part 141 compliance. Provided mentorship and performance assistance to line pilots during their day to day duties while encouraging Pilot in Command decision making.
