* Responsible for performing evaluations, carrying out treatment plans, and orthosis fabrication for patients with various upper extremity conditions.* Patient treatment includes manual therapy, therapeutic exercises and activities, neuromuscular re-education, modalities, education, injury prevention, custom splint fabrication, and wound care.* Communicate results from provocative testing and evaluations and provides recommendations to orthopedic and general surgeons, primary care doctors, rheumatologist, and case managers.* Acted as co-lead in building an OT practice within a PT rehab location. Responsibilities included marketing, networking with doctors, ordering supplies, and patient care.* Mentored fieldwork and observation with students on patient care, treatment planning, and developing clinical skills.

* On-call therapist. I took this role to continue practicing occupational therapy in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. * Performed evaluations and implemented individualized treatment/discharge planning for patients based on results of diagnostic evaluations, prognosis, and through collaboration with patients, family, physicians, case managers, and caregivers.

*As a member of a three person team, evaluated and implemented treatment for patients with various upper extremity conditions including shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand injuries.*Patient treatment varied depending on clinical findings ranging from one time evaluation with custom orthosis and home exercises program to regular treatment sessions occurring two to three times a week for several months.*Fabricated custom orthoses and adaptive equipment to assist patients with upper extremity conditions to enhance functional performance.*Worked one weekend day a month in acute care rehabilitation performing evaluation, implementing treatment plans, and making discharge recommendations for patients with different medical conditions who had been admitted to the hospital.
