Served as agency ethics official working on several issues including: financial disclosure, ethics training, gifts, post-employment, conflicts of interest, FACAs, etc. Prepared FEMA for a review from the Office of Government Ethics. Acted as the agency representative in MSPB appeals involving Reduction in Force, Whistleblower, and Veterans Employment Opportunity Act.Designed and acted as the project officer for the Office of Chief Counsel's Internet Portal and database development. Advised FEMA entities on a variety of IP issues ranging from copyright, trademark and commercial use of FEMA's name and seal. Frequent speaker on the legal issues in government technology and e-discovery. Co-founder of the Federal Cloud Compliance Committee (http://cio.gov/cloudbestpractices.pdf) and co-chair of the cyber security committee.Developing FEMA's e-discovery procedures. Creating processes and procedures for retention of electronic records and placing and enforcing legal holds on electronic records.

Review and process SF 278 Public Financial Disclosure Reports, OGE 450 Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports, performing conflict and technical reviews while writing caution, sector, organization letters for employees with potential conflicts. Liaison with filers and human capital to provide guidelines for the disclosure process. Provide organizational support for the department aiding in the development of policies and procedures for filing and file management and in the development of a new database system to managing the filing and training process.
