When I try to describe myself as a working professional, the first word that comes to mind is determined. My first job was at a hardware store. I started as a cashier who couldn't tell you the difference between a nut and a bolt. By the end of my time there, I was a manager-on-duty and a mentor.Today, I have a B.Sc. in Biology and Environmental Resource Science and a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Engineering Applications. My passion lies within establishing and restoring native ecosystems, while striving to find innovative solutions to help mitigate the effects of climate change. Currently residing on the unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation.
