I have worked with Queensland Corrective Services for 20 years and am experienced in a variety of roles, with Supervisory and Management experience. I have worked with low, medium and high classification prisoners including mainstream and protection prisoners. I have worked in both male and female prisons. I have worked within the Community Corrections stream, the Custodial stream and the Escort and Security Branch. I have experience in Incident Management as well as supervising and managing At-Risk Prisoners. I am passionate about staff safety including the mental health and well-being of Staff. My current role as Staff Training Officer involves training new recruits joining the organisation and who are committed to becoming Custodial Correctional Officers.
