After 5 years of chipping away in various schools and positions working to build teacher capability in supporting diverse learners, it’s a great personal and professional accomplishment to say I did it. A very empowering process to narrate your own professional journey and then to be recognised and validated.

Design, and coordinate to ensure quality assurance of processes and procedures to support the consistent and systematic enactment of the EIA (explicit Improvement Agenda) across the school. Lead / co-lead professional development in the Teaching and Learning Centre in response to student performance data analysis to inform innovation and differentiation in teaching and learning practice with a particular focus on Indigenous Education, CALD support and trauma informed practices.

Advising and supporting School leadership teams to effectively and meaningfully implement the Australian curriculum by responding to the diverse needs of the students in their community through community partnerships, teacher regional and cluster collaboration and reporting to regional and state teams.

In response to key stakeholders, developing educational support plans for students with verified disabilities and learning needs for meaningful and successful experiences in their education journey. Collaboratively working with mainstream teachers to support students in classrooms and supporting families.

The Artsorted Worx is a local business which employs a team of Qualified teachers, practicing Artists and passionate people about the relationship between children's education and creativity. We recognize the importance of life skills that can be taught through the Art curriculum, and the endless possibilities on how students can use creativity in any area of their lives, from dealing with behavioural needs, diverse family backgrounds, to combining creativity with sports and other passions and talents. The Artsorted Worx is built around a passion to build positive, fun and relevant experiences for children, in Art and education. We are focused on creating confidence in children through developing creative thinking in activities, both contemporary and traditional, and across many different art areas and experiences. In our store we also act as a resource centre, being able to provide parents, and educators with personal advice and experience with children's art and indigenous products, and activities. We also retail educational resources and Traditional, creative toys.

Ironbark is a pioneering outdoor education program based at the College’s Ironbark Centre near Crows Nest, Queensland. For five weeks in Year 9, St Peters Springfield students are required to live and breathe farm life, free from the distractions of electronic media (mobiles, TVs and computers). The program focusses on the values of community, commitment and connection. Students are encouraged to discover strength born of teamwork and persistence and to awaken their individual capabilities.
