From mid-2007 to 2010 I got to scratch my travel itch. I spent 6 months driving around the US traveling solo from Boston to Los Angeles on a cross-country adventure. In January, 2008 I stepped onto a plane en route to Mexico with a one-way ticket and a back pack and disappeared for two years. Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama and the Bahamas before returning stateside. It was an incredible educational and cultural experience. I picked up Spanish while on the road.
