As a graduate in Interior Architecture, I am constantly looking to expand my experience and knowledge in the industry. Currently, I am working with Tree Tents International as Managing Director, which uses the best of my skills to help develop the company:1. Project Management- I see our jobs through the entire production process, from organising production schedules, to delivery and install, working with our Production Manager and team.2. Scaling Up - We are scaling up our production and as appointed Managing Director, it is integral for me to work with our team to ensure this process is as smooth as it can be.3. Client Relations - It is important for me to maintain good relationships with our clients, partners, stakeholders and suppliers.4. Planning Support- I offer full support through our clients planning process, providing advice and drawings needed for their projects.5. Site Visits- I attend site visits where I can survey the area and advise where is best to place our temporary structures, anticipate delivery and installation concerns to avoid any potential issues that could occur.6. CAD Drawing- I support our Design and Innovation Director with CAD drawings for our structures using AutoCAD and Inventor to spot any potential delays in the build.7. Building- I assist in the workshop to help build our wilderness architecture, learning new skills as I progress.8. Organisation- I am creating ongoing production packs to provide efficient and smooth service to both our customers and the rest of the team.I am a friendly, energetic and smart individual who is keen to learn new skills. My interest and love for architecture and design drives me to constantly wanting to learn. After writing my dissertation titled ‘Unaesthetic Architecture’; about designing for the blind, but also how designing with all of the senses rather than just sight, has given me such an interest in how design can benefit our lives. Throughout my degree in Interior Architecture, I greatly considered the materiality and experience of a space through the briefs I created and responded to in my studio. My final major project combined a maker-space with exhibition space, playing on the contrast of activity, whilst using natural light and mechanisms to inform the spaces.I am proud to be working for such an innovative and sustainable company, who invest their time into helping me develop my career. I am always looking for new connections in the industry who are like minded and who could potentially work with our business to create something spectacular.
