As an Examiner for the Development and Provision of Sport and Physical Activity exam I am responsible for evaluating and grading candidate responses in accordance with Pearson’s marking schemes and guidelines. In this role, I ensure accuracy, consistency and fairness in marking while meeting strict deadlines. My responsibilities included marking exam scripts using predefined criteria, attending standardisation meetings and training sessions to align with Pearson’s expectations whilst providing feedback or escalating issues to maintain the quality of assessments. I demonstrate strong subject knowledge, attention to detail and excellent time management, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of my work. This role has allowed me to contribute to the quality of education through a flexible, remote position.

Enhancing the overall standard of teaching and learning across the College by observing lessons, providing constructive feedback to teaching staff, and offering targeted support to help educators refine their instructional methods and assessment practices.
