With over six years of work experience in the field of counselling, I am passionate about helping people overcome trauma and achieve their potential. As the Owner/Counsellor of my own practice, I provide individual and couples’ therapy for clients with various mental health issues, using evidence-based and culturally sensitive approaches. I also previously worked as a Direct Care Worker at the Anti-Human Trafficking Program, where I supported survivors of human trafficking with case management, crisis intervention, and advocacy. In addition, I have completed a Master's degree in Counselling and a nine-month internship at Turning Point Therapy, where I gained valuable skills in research, assessment, and intervention. I am proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, and other software tools. My core competencies include empathy, communication, problem-solving, and resilience. I am committed to continuous learning and professional development, as well as to promoting social justice and human dignity in my field.
