Interact with prospective families as they are navigating the admission process. Articulate the mission and program in order to attract and enroll students who can contribute to and benefit from The Woods’ curriculum and community. Responsible for managing the flow of people, information, and communications through the Admissions Office. Chair of Admissions Committee. Organize and manage Open Houses and prospective Parent Coffees. Responsible for internal and external marketing efforts including, but not limited to community publications, website content, print ads in magazines and newspapers, press releases, and social media.

Scheduled school-wide academic program. Coordinated curriculum mapping efforts. Led team of fifth and sixth grade teachers, acting as team's liaison to Head of School. As teacher mentor, guided and nurtured first-year teachers.

Exercise fiduciary oversight and authority over the affairs of the Corporation; establish the philosophy of education, broad objectives, and strategic direction of the School; select, nurture, and evaluate the Head of School, and delegate administrative functions to the Head; establish policy governing the School.

Taught fifth grade in a self-contained classroom in language arts, math, religion, science, and social studies. Incorporated English as a Second Language and Special Education teaching strategies and techniques into weekly lesson plans. Modeled Christian values and morals for a population of predominantly Hispanic children and their families in the ethnically diverse neighborhood of Mount Pleasant.
