Jodie is a D’harawal woman who has worked in both private and public enterprises for over 35 years. She is an experienced DISC facilitator and Executive Coach with a keen sense for business improvement opportunities. She is a passionate advocate of behaviour drives performance. Her work with individuals and teams leads to businesses improvement and higher quality outcomes. Jodie has a track record for delivering results in complex international and domestic environments. Her broad cross sectorial experience enables her to see issues through many lenses and helps Jodie to guide cultural change and improve individual, team and organisation performance. In 2016 Jodie received an Australia Day Medal for her contribution to modernising Australia’s border practices (Australian Trusted Trader programme). From 2008 to 2013 in her role with Austrade, Jodie was recognised as a strong collaborator and regularly sought to partner with key business chambers to develop and deliver events that strengthened bilateral trade relationships. In 2006 her work within the Australian Quarantine Inspection Services contributed to changing governance around the grain and plant export industry. Jodie's work from 2000 to 2006 within the Department of Transport and Regional Services contributed to progressing the Aviation Industry. In 2005 she was Australia's Alternative Council Representative for the Pacific Aviation Safety Office and worked closely with a number of Pacific Islands and the Pacific Island Forum office. In 2004 Jodie was a member of Australia's delegation to the United Nations International Civil Aviation Organization’s General Assembly in Montreal. In 2001 she was a part of Australia’s aviation security team responding to September 11. Between 1996 and 1998 Jodie travelled extensively and worked around the globe. In 1995 Jodie developed a major loyaly club initiative for Ansett Australia. Jodie began her working life in the hospitality and media sector.Jodie is an Audrey Fagan Directorship Program graduate; Certified Executive Coach (IECL); accredited Facilitator and Consultant (DISC); accredited Quality Assurance Lead Auditor (QAS). She has a Bachelor of Business from Monash University; a Graduate Certificate (Management) and completed Modern Diplomacy through the Australian National University, participated in the Executive Level National Security development programme through the Australian National Security College (ANU) and a Graduate Certificate in Psychology (JCU).
