SDN Children’s Services (SDN) is a for-purpose, not for profit organisation that started in 1905. Head of Services responsibilities:Lead and manage the delivery of high quality, desirable, sustainable and impactful services aligned with SDN’s vision, purpose and values and to support the delivery of significant strategic initiatives.After 5 months of engaging in a “normal” workplace, in March 2020, we moved into working from home and managing the COVID pandemic. Crisis management continued for another 22 months. Policy was changing on a weekly basis and communications to staff and families was critical. Managing Government funded contracts (DCJ), NDIS registration and therapist service delivery, and ECEC services. Turnover $50M. Led a team of 9 Direct reports and approx. 600 staff with 3000 families across all programs. As a member of the Executive Team, I often led the decision making across all of the corporate service areas. A leader amoungst leaders.Key Achievements:🙌Business survival throughout COVID. Responsive to all stakeholders resulting in increased NPS and awarded for being in the top 5 employers from the Voice project.
