In over 23 years of caring for patients, I have safely treated many diagnoses of injuries, acute and chronic pain.  My holistic approach includes the visceral (organs), neurological and emotional systems, which can regulate the function of our muscles and joints.  My comprehensive treatment explores this chain of body control and strives to promote the body’s natural healing processes by releasing physical, cognitive, and emotional barriers. I treat many diagnoses of the spine, pelvis, and joints, as well as neurological pain and contributing factors from a specialized range of therapeutic modalities.  These include perceptive manual skills, intuitive understanding of movement and experience in Functional Mobilization, Visceral and Neural Manipulation, Ortho-Bionomy and Pilates Rehabilitation.According to J.P. Barral, our body is very intelligent and wants to be balanced. When our mind and body get overwhelmed with stress and strain, our organs can become dysfunctional. Our body needs movement to function optimally, and this applies to our organs as well. When tissues get stressed and inflamed, they lose their normal mobility. As a Visceral, Neural, and Visceral Emotional Manipulation practitioner, I initiate the process of releasing restrictions and then allow the body to take over to begin to heal.  These specific techniques also work to connect our physical and emotional beings to communicate, promoting healing.
