It took mere minutes of convincing for me to sign up for my first mission trip in college. But the experience working for a nonprofit turned into a lifelong desire to serve organizations that create positive change in the world. I spent the first decade of my career working in both the public and private sectors honing my skills in marketing, communications and public relations. Then two years ago I decided to take a closer look at nonprofit organizations and completed a Master’s degree in Public Administration. Building on this foundation, I’ve combined my professional experience and passion for meaningful projects to work as a freelance grant writer. I enjoy nothing more than writing about an important cause that will inspire someone to act. In short, I’m a wordsmith.
