The field of adult education and staff development found me. It was destiny, if you will, and my passion for helping employees reach their career goals has only intensified over the years.I find a lot of satisfaction in a "job" that allows me to find new and exciting ways to develop the skills of our employees, smoothly onboard new hires, create tools which support efficiency and accuracy, devise methods to improve communication, and identify and implement process improvement. Building a corporate university is one way I have found to organize the learning function, streamline adminstrative processes and support a continuous learning organization. I have the creating of one corporate university under my belt, and now starting the process here at First Federal.I have spend many days designing and delivering learning, but with a staff who has many of those same skills, I am now able to focus my time on the big picture. I learn daily from my time managing a team and working with other leadership to discuss strategy. The Training function here at First Federal is an integral part of the company's strategy and for that I am excited about our future.
