Oversees all aspects of the Resilience Retreat Events, Workshops and Conferences. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer & Director of Programs, the Director of Field Operations role is two-fold; a liaison and a project manager. Acting as the liaison between the customer and the company to accurately assess and understand the customer’s mindset and intended goal. Manages a given project by leading and overseeing various teams to develop and deliver an engaging experience designed to teach resilience topics provided by world renowned presenters on relevant subjects derived from the customer’s expression of vision. The Director of Field Operations is the bridge between the vision and the final product. In managing a given project, led teams in working collaboratively with other departments in all aspects of registration, agendas, programs, and correspondence of all events ensuring all events were executed in accordance with the policies, processes, and standards of the Program. Oversaw event team’s research required for identifying event sites; investigations, selections, negotiations and managing services with all catering and event support vendors for assigned events. Manages and approves the development of budgets and forecasts for all events and keeping in line with contracting parameters and budgetary constraints.

Designed and managed registration, agendas, programs, and correspondence of all events ensuring all events were executed in accordance with the policies, processes, and standards of the Program. Conducted research required for identifying event sites; investigations, selections, negotiations and managing services with all catering and event support vendors for assigned events. Worked within budgets and forecasts for all events, keeping in line with contracting parameters and budgetary constraints.

Handled vendor contract negotiation, venue site selection, setting banquet event orders, guest room blocking and on-site and on-line registration management. Organized and ran logistics on load-in/out of materials and equipment. Developed and nurtured client, vendor and networking relationships.
