A little about me....... or maybe a lotI have had a great deal of experience within office administration from medical reception, recruitment to management administration which involved department and financial report collation, edit and processing of high-level controlled documents ranging from general office processes to safety processes used throughout the business. My previous retail roles, especially working within Real Estate and Mining, have helped refine my skills and awareness of clients’ needs as well as dealing with people on all levels with tact and compassion.All roles that I have held hold a very common thread in that they are Client/Customer focused with importance placed on delivering a high level of service in a timely fashion. Throughout my working career I’ve prided myself on gaining a fantastic variety of skills from on the job training to class-based learnings. These include a Diploma in Business: Administration and Technology, Certificate in Real Estate: Salesperson plus knowledge of Microsoft Suite at an intermediate level.I’ve used various databases such as GP Fox in a medical environment, SAP which is a comprehensive system controlling everything from stock orders, job hazard analysis to financial forecasts, Documentum at editor/owner level and First Priority Event (FPe) for safety incidents, reporting and notifications. All exposure has given me confidence in composing documentation at a high level and the ability to simplify and streamline processes for users.The skill I have developed, and that I take most pride in, is my ability to communicate with people, regardless of their background or situation, on all levels in a respectful manner. Also, providing genuine customer service is, to me, one of the most important things you can offer in any environment.Culturally, I am of Maori descent and have a good understanding of protocols related to my heritage. I must be honest in that I am not fluent in Te Reo Maori yet. I have an ever growing understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and look to broaden my knowledge of Te Ao Māori.I have a passionate, caring nature that I proudly apply to my work life and personal. I thoroughly enjoy interacting with people and I am a very good communicator who relates well to various backgrounds and ages. I place a lot of energy and enthusiasm in my work, always incorporating professionalism and initiative to resolve scenarios or plan ahead. I enjoy a good challenge and adapt to various environments quickly.
