I live in Wausau, Wisconsin, and fully embrace the idea of Midwest Nice in my interactions with people and in my approach to business. My experience managing projects has given me a clear idea of how to connect with customers - to learn their needs and how I can best provide solutions for them. I have worked on many teams. My approach to teamwork is to maintain respectful atmosphere, create opportunities for people to share their creativity, and for us to inspire each other with our unique perspectives and talents.After working in Technical Publishing creating and managing content for leading manufacturing companies, I transitioned into Marketing and Event Planning. I have had many opportunities to excel in desktop publishing, project managing, working on tight deadlines (often on multiple projects at the same time.) I especially enjoy developing talent, and I created and implemented a training program and training manual for desktop publishing. Education is a life-long pursuit, and I take opportunities to constantly learn new skills, teaching myself to be an accomplished graphic artist.Community is important to me, and I have volunteered for many nonprofits in the area, including fundraising, handling volunteer coordination, creating and implementing marketing strategies, hiring and communicating with vendors, and event planning.
