Substitute teacher and teacher's assistant at various schools throughout my local school districts. Currently working 2-4 times per week, mostly in the Fonda-Fultonville Elementary School.

9/20 – 6/21 – Worked alongside a 1st grade classroom teacher in a split classroom environment (due to COVID and social distancing rules). Assisted in the physical, emotional, and social needs of children. Provided discipline and guidance as needed. 9/19 – 6/20 – Assisted in a 12:1:1 classroom with children who needed extra support with math and reading. Also worked 1 on 1 with an autistic child who needed extra support with reading comprehension and math skills. Assisted in reinforcing teacher lessons by working with individual students or small groups of students in two kindergarten classrooms. Various other responsibilities such as monitoring lunch periods and recess, and filling in for classroom teachers as necessary.

As a secretary - Greeted students and parents, answered phones, gave administrative support to teachers and school officials, scheduled appointments, and managed transportation and dismissal procedures for students. As a Teacher’s Assistant (TA) Floater - helped reinforce teacher lessons by working with individual students or small groups of students, various other responsibilities such as Pre-K before care, monitoring lunch periods, and filling in for classroom teachers as necessary.

Released all collateral on loans that paid off, kept detailed records on partial releases of properties, checked the accuracy of all data entry for new loans, followed up on releases with various public trustees, input data into Excel and Microsoft Word to send letters to customers regarding the acceptance of their loan, wrote up new loans to bring to loan committee, assisted loan officers with various other duties such as phone calls, letters and photocopying as needed, and met with customers to discuss and sign loan documents. Ran a teller station and handled large quantities of cash, kept the vault balanced, assisted customers with various banking products and transactions, handled, inquired, and updated customer accounts, provided customer service assistance, trained all new tellers for all branches, supervised tellers and assigned work responsibilities, prepared employee schedules, wrote performance reviews for tellers, balanced daily and monthly general ledgers, and oversaw daily opening and closing procedures. *Maintained a perfect balancing record for the duration of my employment* (Bank is now owned and operated by BOK Financial)
