Worked closely on content development with Dr. Neil Landman, the Curator-in-Charge, Division of Paleontology at the American Museum of Natural History. Responsible for writing, photography and element curation. For more than 350 million years, ammonites lived in the seas that covered our planet. Scientists have already named more than 2,500 genera and new species are still being found in sedimentary strata from Madagascar to Montana. This website explores their history and their mystery. The American Museum of Natural History, located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City, is the largest natural history museum in the world. The AMNH hosts more than 5,000,000 visitors each year.

At the suggestion of Dr. Kirk Johnson, the Sant Director of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, we are considering the terms for composing and photographing a book on ammonites, featuring my collection, which may be published under their auspices. Originally organized as the United States National Museum, the Smithsonian Institution is world-renowned 19 museums, nine research centers, zoo, historical and architectural landmarks, as well as 154 million other items. The Institution's 30 million annual visitors are admitted free of charge.

GEORGE C. PAGE MUSEUMNATIONAL LANDMARK2012-2016Pleistocene paleontology is readily accessible in urban Los Angeles thanks to the wealth of specimens fossilized in the La Brea Tar Pits. Here, natural asphalt has seeped up from the ground for tens of thousands of years. Over many centuries, the tar preserved the bones of trapped animals. Under the auspices of Curator John Harris, Ph.D. and Collections Managers Aisling Farrell and Gary Takeuchi we worked on Project 23 – excavating, recording and reviewing materials from 16 new fossil deposits were discovered in 2006. Named for the 23 large wooden boxes that were built around each deposit, this incredible haul of material is up to 38,000 years old and includes the skeleton of an adult mammoth. It is currently under excavation at the La Brea Tar Pits. The number of new fossils from Project 23 is in the millions—enough to double the Page Museum collection. From mammoth tusks to mouse toes, the George C. Page Museum is dedicated to researching and presenting the tar pits. It is one of the world's richest and most diverse late Pleistocene fossil collections
