Director level position that is responsible for planning, controlling, and coordinating all activities of a complex production operation. Directs all functions at the plant including production, quality control, finance, purchasing, inventory control, manufacturing, engineering, and employee relations. Top level leadership position in a manufacturing facility.

Oversees day to day execution of production-related activities for designated areas, product lines in accordance with relevant food legislation (FDA etc). Drives alignment of production strategies, goals and objectives with day to day activities in the areas of output, quality, safety, delivery and cost. Develop and build capability of people as individuals and teams through a variety of techniques and tools focused on motivation, teamwork, mentoring and coaching.

Responsible for day to day supervision of assigned teams of employees who perform specific tasks as part of operations activities in a food manufacturing environment. Responsible for communicating expectations, managing accountability and delivering desired results in the areas of safety, quality, delivery and cost. Assures employees complete tasks in accordance with relevant to company and legislative food safety and food quality requirements.

Safely produce a superior product by performing designated line responsibilities and positively contributing to the achievement of team and company goals. Develop and achieve team goals that align with the company strategies through development of business expertise. Perform routine operation and line maintenance procedures.
