I have over fifteen years of experience in working with adolescents, adults and families, in both individual and group settings, with a focus on managing employment-,financial-, anger-, disability- and stress-related issues. I also have expertise in the areas of building self-esteem, conflict resolution, grief and loss issues and depression, as well as life transitions. I have extensive experience working with individuals with disabilities and mental health issues. I am educated in the areas of rehabilitation counseling and psychological services. I have developed the professional understanding, knowledge, attitude, and skill needed to assist individuals and groups in achieving their maximum level of independence and functioning. I provide a balance between technical rehabilitation knowledge and basic counseling competency. I have a MS degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from St. Cloud State University and am also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.
