At the Museum I lead efforts to engage the K-12 community to utilize the Museum in teaching and learning. I design curriculum, facilitate K-12 field trips, and provide professional development to educators and school districts across the region. I am also responsible for creating strategic, innovative approaches to using the Museum’s collection and art to educate about the Holocaust, human rights, and histories of genocide.

Provided capacity building to regional nonprofits.Reviewed grant applications and provided technical support to applicants quarterly. Conducted research and provided technical expertise for initiatives in the arts, P-16 education and community development.Established a partnership with the Iowa Arts Council and the Nebraska Arts Council to produce the 2008 IA/NE Public Art Conference sponsored by the Iowa West Foundation.Developed and managed all aspects of a three-day regional public arts conference.

Technology associate in the first multimedia production lab within a library setting at the University of Iowa. Provided technical expertise and creative support to faculty, students and community patrons on a wide array of technology integration projects. Researched new trends, developed and taught workshops in a variety of multimedia production platforms.
