My 30+ years of supporting Kootenay business, families and residents through local credit unions has been a passion, as well as a satisfying career.I am on a journey of learning and leading through my role as Chief Executive Officer, through our main financial service business and our important subsidiaries, in real estate, wealth and insurance services industries. My passion for business has provided me with skills in Business Planning, Risk Management, Banking, Coaching, Governance and Strategic Planning. Reporting to a board of directors has been interesting, challenging and educational. I have also had the privilege to participate on numerous local, regional, provincial and national committees as a Director or Chair, and have benefited from knowledge gained through the friends I have met and business decisions made. Continual education has provided me with current trends and best practices in Business, Strategy and Leadership.Enjoying my Kootenay outdoor lifestyle is a priority, with the endless options to continually work on my goal of balanced living.
