I have joined Spherion Recruiting & Staffing which is the second largest staffing company in the world and is locally owned and operated by Mary Barrineau and Pam Ueberroth for over 18 years here in Charleston. Spherion is a certified Woman Owned Small Business that’s core focus has been accounting, administrative, customer service- call center and Insurance processing/billing, engineering, manufacturing and distribution. There are over five recruiters that all have recruiting specialties - we have over 450 employees a week in short, long term, contract, and executive placement positions. As you can imagine the Charleston market has really grown over the last three years and utilizing staffing whether it’s long term/contract or short term, or temp to perm has really been the way more companies have increased their employee base.
