I am a Professional Engineer with approximately 18 years of experience, licensed in North Carolina, Colorado and Virginia. As a Project Engineer and Manager, I have worked on various types of projects, including complicated water and sewer capital improvement projects, subdivisions and large institutional and commercial site development projects. In my work, I have gained thorough knowledge of local zoning and land use ordinances, as well as state and federal laws and regulations. I have performed many duties related to engineering including writing of proposals, budgeting, working with clients, project design, cost estimating, capital improvement budgeting, delegation, site inspections, stormwater detention and retention modeling, water system modeling, flood plain modeling, compilation and writing of reports, project technical specifications and construction contract documents. I perform the majority of my own computer drafting in AutoCAD LDD and AutoCAD 3D and am proficient in several other design software applications, including HEC-RAS, HydroCAD and WaterCAD.
