Built, managed, and grew 1 of only 3 talent agencies in the USA specializing in Gospel music. Expanded from 5 developing acts to represent 17+ artists, including 8 Grammy nominees and award-winners. Signed all talent, grew revenue year-over-year, and employed 5 staff at the height of business, including 1 employee in London, England. • Pursued and established relationships with artists and their managers through industry events and record labels including Universal Music Group, Capital Records, and Warner Brothers.• Collaborated with artist teams to shape each artist’s public image and develop strategies to market their music. • Orchestrated deals within the music industry (e.g. record labels, radio stations, promoters, and managers) to execute tours, ensure airtime across multiple platforms, and grow the brand of each artist. • Negotiated up to 150 performance contracts annually for represented artists. • Analyzed key markets to determine marketing strategies and choose locations for live performances. • Identified trends in sales, social media, and audience interest to steer artists toward profitable avenues. • Handled a wide variety of logistical and contractual issues on behalf of artists each day, and personally managed 2 artists for a total of 7 years.
