About Jody Mckellar
After graduating Iowa State University where I proudly represented my school as an NCAA gymnast, my world came crashing down. I suffered from a massive identity crisis transitioning from 20 years of elite sport to "normal" life. I was instantly drawn to yoga not only to help heal my many years of injuries, but to help balance my mental/emotional well-being at the time. Meditation became medicine to my anxiety and drew me into the world of yoga. I am currently working as a teacher for the Calgary Board of Education where I not only help kids with their academics, but also with their social/emotional well-being. I am exteremly passionate about incoporating yoga and mindfulness into the education system as well as into the corporate world where stress is an everyday occurance. I use my expertise to help youth and adults heal, grow and discover.
