Battalion legal clerk for Headquarters Battalion, Camp Pendleton, California and executive secretary for base commanding officer. Acted as investigator for all on-base auto accidents, claims, theft losses, and personal injury claims. Prepared all initial reports, assigned investigating officers, and prepared legal analysis for areas of further investigation (witnesses, evidence, statements, etc.). Compiled evidence for non-judicial punishment and court martials, as well as recorded results of same. Taught 6 week administrative course at Sea School at Marine Corps Recruit Depo, San Diego (1984 to 1986).
