My journey began 13 years ago in California while working as an elementary teacher in the public schools of downtown LA and performing in the theatre. Yoga calmed my mind and helped me to be present and joyful in the classroom and reconnected me to my body for optimal performance on the stage. My passion for teaching and the physical, spiritual, and mental benefits that yoga has given me led me to become a yoga teacher. I attained my Registered Yoga Teacher Certification at Urban Yoga. I continued my training earning advanced certifications in Yoga Wall "Hang" and Barre. Teaching throughout the Phoenix area at Yoga Hangout, Mountainside Fitness, Yoga Pura, The Silverleaf Club, corporate settings, schools and private practices. I teach Vinyasa style classes from all levels to power, along with getting upside down in hang and mixing it up with ballet-inspired exercise in barre. My classes are filled with playful, flowy sequences led from the heart and sprinkled with a mix of sweat, breath, and smiles from 4 to 94.
