I also act as a consultant to groups, organizations, and schools on issues pertaining to these topics.I coordinate and chair The Tri County LifeSavers, which is a youth suicide prevention coalition comprised of over 15 school districts and multiple agencies, groups, and organizations that meet monthly to network, share resources, and educate each other on best evidence-based practices of youth suicide prevention. I coordinate and chair my agency's multi-district School-Based Crisis Response Group that focuses on helping schools prepare for the inevitable crisis, train their staff in crisis management, and provide a network of interconnected districts and schools that can support each other in times of crisis.I coordinate my agency's Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) team, which is highly effective at helping individuals and groups who have been effected by recent traumatic events. In times of high stress, I oversee the deployment of a team that helps restore functioning, effectiveness, and group cohesion.I'm responsible for helping management develop training and team development strategies to improve the clinical services our agency provides.
