My career has been defined by taking on pivotal roles in organizations undergoing transformation, scaling efforts, or facing complex challenges. As a result I have worked in a variety of industries, including health technology, higher education, and both the non-profit and governance sectors (e.g. local government, environmental policy, and research consultancies) and the companies I have worked for include everything from early stage startups to the biggest and oldest educational institutions in the U.S. My education, like my career trajectory, is non-traditional and non-linear. I began working at 14 and thus had a decade of work experience under my belt before beginning college. This experience gave me a unique perspective that led me to focus my natural aptitude in science and technology on addressing real-world issues, which was the focus of my undergraduate and graduate research projects. I worked throughout my schooling and the blending of my education and professional life gifted me with extreme adaptability, wide ranging and flexible communication skills, and the ability to overcome organizational challenges. Simply put, I solve problems.
